http://ncncs.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/interesting-blog.jpg

Thank you for you, Steven  a.k.a. “Critical Thinker”* for the “Interesting Blog Award!” It has such beautiful colors and I love the design!

*Steven, I could NOT find a link that was activated to link us to your blog!

My  5  nominations are:

* Judith     http://growingyoungereachday.wordpress.com/

Judith presents wonderful, joyous walks through life!  I love her writing!

* Janni     http://whisperbreath.wordpress.com

Angels are everywhere—thank YOU for posting this blog! Thank you for giving my tired soul comfort!

Lovely Woman from Colombia      http://pensamientosdevida.wordpress.com

This is an interesting blog created by this Poet Woman of Colombia! Writing commentaries  accompany amazing photographs of a variety of  images to wake us from our coma and see how intimate and small our world is and how we do, in deed, affect one another with our life’s choices…and, with her beautiful photos of flowers that there still is much beauty in this world! This blogger also offers us a chance to listen to the wonderful music of Colombia! Lovely blog!

Musing Maven   http://themusingmaven.com

Thank you for sharing your life’s experiences in such a happy way! I loved your “Gum Drops and Sprinkles, Please:—so delightfully humorous!  and this peace, “When           You Love Something, Set It Free”—-very moving and a great tribute to you as a Mom!

* A Man’s Perspective (could not find his name)         http://myothervoices.wordpress.com

Most unusual blog I have yet to read—-so interesting how this writer speaks through “human, animals, other voices not his own”——–fascinating topics!

*   Luna Ulric-Taylor           http://lunasmoondance.wordpress.com

I had to add this one more…Oh my Goodness! This woman’s writing speaks to my very soul! Her writing is so beautiful and such depth to it! Layers upon layers pealing away my facade! Oh…lovely!

******************************************************************************************************************************************************

Rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you

2. List 5 random facts about yourself

3. Nominate a minimum of 5 blogs for the award

4. Answer the 5 questions and Ask the nominees 5 questions of your choice

5. And finally, let them know you have nominated them.

5 things about me:

1. I love to laugh.

2. I think Carlos Santana is a master guitarist

3. I like to be with people and socialize…but I also need a break and retreat into my cocoon.

4 . I love Spring and the delicate green of the leaves!

5.  I lived in Kenya, East Africa, for over two years teaching in a rural Harambee School.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************

The inquires from Steven and my responses to his questions are:

1. I don’t like asking people questions……….do you?

No, I do not like asking people questions—when I was a teacher, I preferred students asking me questions…I better understood how to guide them in their learning.

2. Would you answer honestly?

  Definitely…if I responded!  If I did not want to share my truth with them, I would remain silent and not respond.

3. Do you know who Opie Taylor is?

  I have no idea! Who is he?

4. Does GM really mean Government Motors?

That does seem to be  a political question—and it would take ream of  WordPress pages to respond to that one!  Perhaps it refers to Glorified Manhood?

5. If you had a horse, what color would it be?

My color of horse would be a black and white pinto!  If someone had a farm, and wanted me to share it with them, and promised me to buy me a black and white pinto, I might even consider marriage! …IF it was to a woman!  [smile…]

*********************************************************************************************************************************************************

My 5 questions to the nominees:

1. How do you handle transitions in life?

2. Do you ever want to retreat into your own world?

3. What is your favorite color and why?

4. What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?

5.  How do you see us ending the horrible suffering in this world?

    • Thank you, Jerry…I feel like I have been inundated with awards…so much attention—but then I follow through because I see so many more worthy recipients out there in the universe of blogging! I find myself crying with tears of joy for all of the hope and goodness that people put forth in their writing, photographs, and art…their joys and their disappointments…their successes and fears…their hope for humankind…it is enriching to discover each one’s quest for truth!

    Thank you for the nomination. Sometime ago I decided that as there were so many great blogs out there I would just direct everyone to my blogroll rather than nominate 5, 10, 15 or whatever number.

    Again, congratulations on a well-deserved award. I don’t know how you have time to answer everyone and to nominate the ones you do and comment on them. I enjoyed your A’s to the Q’s -especially #5. My favorite horse is the Pinto, too. (think I’m in love, want to get a ranch together?) Have you ever seen Beverly Dolittle’s paintings of Pintos. Beautiful!!

    • LOL…you are so funny, Miss Betty! Yes, I feel in love with pintos watching “The Cisco Kid” western! and I fell in love with the main actor as well! smile..No, I have never seen Beverly Dolittle’s painting—I will see if I can find her online! Thanks for the reference! I think I am neglecting my house–in reference to how do I find the “time to answer everyone”—well, as a wise friend once told me, “the housework in always there! and will wait for you!” LOL LOL LOL

        Beverly Dolittle paints mostly Pinto Ponies (last I seen) hides some in the scenery. i would love to have just one of her paintings.
        No kidding, I fall a little bit more in love with you every time I read a new post of yours.
        I’m afraid my house is suffering too, between never ending ydwk and the computer-still slow and crashes, so takes me forever! I read from a very wise person long time ago that you “take care of the living things first, people, pets, plants-the dust will wait.” I took that to heart, as you can tell when you see my home!

  6. Your most Welcome!
    My question on GM was a simple “yes or no” question, but if you feel perhaps it does refer to Glorified Manhood, they yes it would take you reams of WordPress pages to respond to it. Yet you did get the “political” part right, but polite PC people do not discuss politics that do not agree with their point of view.

    • Really? How do views ever change then? I did not think it was impolite to discuss politics with people who have opposing points of view. I thought it would bring about transparency and greater understanding of both positions?
