fireflies in the twilight of July

fireflies are whimsically dancing

over the purple clover fields

as the sun pulls its cover up over itself

to settle in for the night on the mountain shelves

    • Hi Eliza~ Glad you liked it! I have been repairing my floors in my little home…and it is very time consuming, since I am not a Pro…as well as exhausting. I am literally physically tired! LOL As a result, my writing has taken a back seat. I have also been to see my grandchildren at least once a month…I miss their delightful hearts around my home. Hope you are enjoying your summer! I will visit your blog today!
