a day of YOU…
rising to meander outside
silent sitting in the crisp air
drinking your coffee in silence
with your faithful dog by your side
as the sun crawls up out of its sleep…
deepening hues of whispers
enter your heart
hours of moments enter your consciousness
one thought after another tiptoes gently
through the strings of your heart
as the brew is lifted for you to savor
Coco stirs as the squirrel runs by
Lady cardinal is singing from the cedars
the wind picks up and you tighten your jacket
clouds stream across the sky
as you drift inside the marshmellow softness
