As the winds of fortune blew one day,

a seed was deigned to come my way

That seed I planted long ago,

loved and tended; it did grow

Never bound by fear nor shell,

that tiny seed did grow and swell.

It’s roots anchored in my heart,

bearing fruit right from the start.

Love and trust still freely gives,

some have died; yet this one lives.

The beauty of this special seed,

shall not be marred by reckless weed.

Although caring for all the rest,

this seed..the one I love the best.

Writing Opportunities for June..Have fun!

dear WordPress Followers–

I ran across this in my email, so I thought I would pass the information along to each of you.  Perhaps one of you has some interest in the opportunities listed. Happy Writing!

THANK YOU each for your continued interest and support…your likes and comments….when visiting my blog. You give me hope in humanity! My soul  appreciates the quiet presence of you in my life!

There certainly is much turmoil in our world today–many lives hurt, so many lives threatened, so many women and girls tortured, many lives of men lost in wars, so many children silenced, disease and suffering, poverty and greed…certainly the increase in communication technology brings a new level of awareness to us.

The sorrow becomes overwhelming and the solutions seem so distant.  It is difficult for me to write happy thoughts amidst all of this suffering—but, I feel we must do what we can to remind each other of all that is GOOD—because there is much GOOD–and we cannot let go of that thread of HOPE…it is upon this Hope that the future is built.

Thank YOU each for giving me HOPE with your positive words and encouragement!  Blessings upon you each in however you feed your souls…I think we all belong to the same God…we may have different rites and rituals and ways of being with God, and perhaps even in how we address the GOOD in Life…but I know from the wonder I read in your writings, that we are all on that same path of LIGHT. We need that LIGHT in this world

    Thank you!

                                                                                                                                           Sincerely,

                                                                                                                                           Jane

sometimes…

sometimes the heart is so sad

that the tears cascade out of our being…

sometimes we feel there is nothing that can bring it out of the dark

sometimes the hurt is carved so deep…

and no matter what we have tried …fails

sometimes there are those raindrops even when the sun shines…

our eyes are blurred with confusion…

our heart strings have been stretched beyond their endurance…

so…sometimes… we want to quit and give it all up

… it is then…

that we are called to believe even when we don’t

…it is then…

that we have to reach beyond ourselves

and be thankful for the tears that flow …

tears… the droplets of grace from God…

…we have to reach for the  deepest part of our self and sit with who we are…and be present to the GOD within…

…hang on to that HOPE even when it seems it is not there

…it is then that we have to believe in the BEST of each other

and of ourselves…

sometimes… despite all that speaks directly against our struggle

we have to keep going…and never stop loving…
