Embrace gratitude

indeed a challenge…

a challenge to leave the dung heap

… and move beyond oneself…

the self-imposed tomb–

the Lazarus within called forth…

sometimes it is more comfortable to remain in the dark, because the unknown is a risk…

to embrace gratitude takes risk…

and deep belief…

trust in Yahweh…

giving up old patterns

…and feeling foolish and out of place in the pool of gratitude…

believing God can and will and does…

love me as I am…
