a Robin was singing this morning
outside my window morning bright
a song I had never heard before
a song that gave my heart delight
the thrill of the gentle bird
beautiful, soft and light
found itself within my soul
carrying me from dawn to midnight

ありがとうThank you, Yoshiko, for reading so many of my poetry posts! You are so very kind! and yes, birds singing outside the window–pure joy! Now that I am retired, I seem to pause and reflect more…should have done more of that while so BUSY—tried to! I heard the robin sing…I am amazed also at the many different songs of the cardinals!

According to my observation, 🙂 different birds have different chirping sound. But I can’t stand the crow’s sound. Their sound is enough to wake me up from my dream world 😦
