your heart

you cannot stop your heart

it will love whom it wants

but

there is an unspoken boundary

that is as sacred

as the love that pours forth from it

the self must be respected

the inner spirit must be listened to

it is the narrow gate

that one must enter through

to find

and live

true love

We definitely should be open to love and follow our hearts, but remember to respect and fully love ourselves, too. Great words of wisdom, Johann! 🙂
