It was, Andy! My Mom lived with me that last four years of her life…and so did my grandchildren for a time…It was an extremely foggy night when Nadia was born that 26th day of December. We were taking turns going to the hospital, because my Mom had suffered a stroke and was in a wheelchair. The last family was ready to leave for the hospital, and my Mom wheeled herself in front of the door and indicated she was going with or they were NOT going! LOL…I was very concerned because of the heavy fog conditions that presented itself for the drive to the hospital—but my Mom did arrive safely and this was the “precious moment” as you say!

Did I tell you I made it to Vancouver? But only for a few hours–we were too poor to spend time there…LOL…still on a budget! LOL..But I am hoping to return there either in the Spring or Fall, for sure! Maybe the next time we can meet for tea or coffee!

Yes, it was wonderful! I was driving and my daughter directing me through the traffic. You know I am from the rural area of Wisconsin—cornfields! I was a bit overwhelmed but it was thrilling! And the next time, we will be better prepared! We just had the car for the afternoon, so we just wanted to see if we could make it there and back! LOL It is about an hour from Bellingham—now that I have driven it once, I will be prepared for the next and will be less filled with anxiety! LOL It was majestic to see!
