Cindy, it was a beautiful trip to Jasper…my first time to see the Canadian Rocky Mountains. I still have not been to our own, but I was blessed to see this!

What a lovely photo for wordless wednesday. I shared this on my facebook with the following text.
My moms birthday is in the morning. I am trying to decide how I feel about that. This post made me decide I want a Wordless Wednesday. My heart aches to buy a card that says “Mom” on it. Hell, I’d settle for “Mother or Mommy”. Instead I will sit back and remember when I was 6 and we would all spend the day in the pines fishing with bologna and not catching a single fish all day. I believe now she didn’t want to catch the fish. She hated taking it off the hook even though she faked it for me. I hate taking the fish off the hook, shhhh, my kids dont know! Like mother like daughter. Happy Birthday Mom. We miss you more than youd expect!

I am so delighted, Dany, that you found a worthy use of the photo! Your story is beautiful and I am sure your Mom is reading it! My Mom left Mother Earth in 2010…she was in my life 60 years…a day never goes by without my heart remembering her. Your Mom was blessed to have you with her during her last months and I am sure you bring much comfort to your Dad. Blessings to you and your children!
