the blades of grass

whisper their hellos

and drink in the morning mist

thirsting for every bit of life

before the demise of the summer warmth

as the long quiet of winter ensues…

  2. Hate to think of losing our warmth and shorter days, but the upside where I live is that the fools will not be out carrying on as much and there may be more tranquility. You certainly capture nice nature pics that contain stories you know how to extract.

    • Thank you, Celestine! Great to see your face and comment! I have not been writing much lately…repairing the house, gardening and teaching English online to students in China have taken up much of my time. With the cooler weather, I suppose I will find myself enclosed and pick up the pen! I miss writing!
