Ebola then turns the insides of its host into jelly: you begin to vomit black junk which is basically your dissolved liver and internal organs.”

Fear too is an epidemic, it stretches out like
An incubation period for a kind of doom
Population control, whispered a silent elite
Who engineer our wallets, our GMO food, our futures

Ebola was a convenient way, of making us fear
Who we once were again, black as a Nigerian
We died alone in deathbeds, isolated plastic containers
For who we once were, our organs giving out

Infection was a spider hand, MSM gave us
False positives, but could the main-stream-media
Be trusted any longer? Wasn’t this just a matter
Of time, an algorithm set loose upon the billions?

Fear is that place, where people go in adversity
It’s hypnotic like an audience at a concert
It’s contagious how the will for…

God you breathe though all of me

Though all those I am with

Through all those on this Mother Earth

Help us to be open to YOU

and BE with us

              humanity is suffering

              our children everywhere are dying

dying because their skin is a different color

dying because one thinks their religion is superior to the other

dying because of our greed

dying because we are so empty inside of ourselves

dying because we have forgotten how to share

dying because of our self-centeredness

dying because we lack love of self, and so cannot love others

God we ask YOU to breathe Your Love into us

Help us to love each other

Help us to be open and receive

We need Your Light in this world

Help us to be Light-carriers to one another

empty us of our false images

empty us of our hate

empty us so we can be filled with Your LOVE

each woman in this world is my friend

each man in this world is my friend

we all share the same color of blood

we all share the air we breathe

and that breath is YOUR LOVE

there is enough food for all

there is enough water for all

there is enough land for all

help us to tear down our boundaries

and open our hands to receive  Your Love

help us to open our hands so that others can freely take from us

without stipulations, reservations, demands

You, God, are the Gentle Love that breathes into us

Mother Earth has provided life for us

Let us share that life with each other

Forgive us and help us to be FOR giving…

to BE…for this God created all  (Wisdom I:14)

ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS ON THE KILLING OF ANIMALS, IDEAL KOSHER PRACTICES, DIVERSE RELIGIOUS VIEWS, AND ATHEISTS ON VEGETARIANISM

A very thorough presentation of vegan and vegetarian and Kosher understandings on the killings of animals. The tone of the article is inviting and the information is excellent! The Garden of Man

“The blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.”

Deuteronomy 12:23-24

The Torah gives precise details on how animals are to be sacrificed

and slaughtered (shechita). According to Rabbis Shlomo Ephraim Luntschitz

and Abraham Isaac Kook the complexity of these laws were intended to

discourage the consumption of meat. Kashrut may also be designed to remind

Jews of the magnitude of the task undertaken in killing a living being.

Peter Singer Ethical considerations for Vegetarianism

“The case for vegetarianism is at its strongest when we see it as a moral protest against our use of animals as mere things, to be exploited for our convenience in whatever way makes them most cheaply available to us. Only the tiniest fraction of the tens of billions of farm animals slaughtered for food each year—the figure for the United States alone is nine billion—were treated…

Prejudice Takes Many Forms

How do we stop this? We have to begin by being tolerant, understanding and compassionate in our own lives. How can we help to stop this bigotry against people who have the albino condition? Fueled by Superstition, People Are Violently Attacking Albinos in Tanzania

In the past month, a spate of violent attacks in Tanzania targeting people with albinism for their body parts has highlighted a morbid practice linked to witchcraft.

People with albinism, also known as albinos, are born with a deficiency of melanin pigmentation. Those with a complete lack of pigmentation have extremely pale skin and hair, and their eyes are typically a light shade of blue. The condition generally results from recessive genes carried by parents. Albinism in Africa brings with it an increased chance of developing fatal skin cancer, and the lack of pigment to protect eyes against the bright sun can cause sight problems.

Africans with the condition can suffer alienating social stigma in communities where their neighbors and relatives believe them to be ghosts, cursed, or…

“Gentle As She Grows . . . “

A profound poem…for me, it spoke of how we can take our sufferings and transform them into goodness for others…Beautiful! Please direct your likes and comments to: http://risinghawk.wordpress.com/2014/08/23/gentle-as-she-grows/#comment-2176

We Do Need Each Other

look to Brother Wind

and how he  delicately breathes life and dances with the grass

look to Sister Ocean

and the life tiptoeing across the crests of  her waves

look to Brother Sun

and how his light reflects the deeper image

look to Sister Moon

and how her light enhances the dark

look to Cousin Stars

and their majestic glow that gladdens our hearts

look to Distant Clouds

and how they fill our imagination with wonder

look to  Busy Bee

and how it carries the pollen to flower our world

look to Each Other

and how your simple gesture…

a nod…

your smile…

a graceful touch…

your listening ear…

gives HOPE to another

Depression is an illness that affects so many, many people.  YES–YOU do matter! YES–each of us can do something.  We are interconnected.  Each of us weaves a thread of our lives into the other’s tapestry, with a simple gesture, a word, a nod…a thought! No matter where we live on Mother Earth, we influence one another. Blessings to all of us, that we may live more mindfully and be present in the NOW to one another.

I am Mad as Hell and I’m Not Going to Take it Anymore!

This is an alert for all of us in many ways. Plagiarism is wrong and it stealing. I am going to sift through my blog, to be certain that I have given credit to the person when credit is due. I think “sharing” has taken on a new meaning in cyber world. Mary has suffered from stolen art theft. Please direct any comments or likes to her site: http://oilpastelsbymary.com/2014/08/18/i-am-mad-as-hell-and-im-not-going-to-take-it-anymore/comment-page-2/#comment-12510. Thank You! And may we all be more prudent and honest in what we claim as ours on our blogs, beginning with me.

…and, here I am…

IMAG3639 the cool wind is blowing the young birch tree’s leaves

flowers are preparing to leave their seed for next year’s blossoms

birds are flocking, singing incessantly as they are planning their journey south

and, here am I…

sitting

watching

wondering

life is in transition all around me

and I am

wondering

grandchildren are growing…words blossoming forth

trying to figure out who is the tallest and how much they have grown since yesterday

loving their Mom, beautiful in being themselves

and, here am I

watching

wondering

in gratitude

Two Stickers

IMAG3623

the last image I held of them

were their sad and sleepy eyes

away they sped in the car

while within, my heart did cry

within our children’s hearts

lies the deepest truth and honesty

they are still very intimate with the God- LOVE

that brought them into our absurdity

despite all of the chaos around them

they are able to keep their grins

they still love and let you know

despite your disturbing whims

for in my absence from the house

on top of the stack of papers blue

lied two little stickers from them

saying, I LOVE YOU!IMAG3625
