Wash Away the Illusion of Loneliness

what is loneliness?

it is an illusion

isolation confusion

fear of being by oneself

feeling separate on the life shelf

unconnected and dismayed

climb out of yourself and face the day

be gentle with yourself

inconvenience oneself

accept that you are loveable

not only culpable

accept that you are part of something greater than yourself

you must bring oneself

to the waiting God of LOVE

you are never alone…hand and glove

…remember…go your Center

be at peace in Love tender

Yes, I was eavesdropping! My darlings are here tonight for a sleepover. while their Mommy visits with her sister before the younger sister takes off for Togo, West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer. Ayden and Nadia are playing with the toys, and all of a sudden I heard this plaintive whimper from Nadia. My grandma ears went on alert. I waited a second before moving into action, and I overheard Ayden say, “Sissy, you know it is not about winning; it is just about having fun!” in the most gentle tone ever! It was wonderful to hear this! Immediately, Nadia responded giggling, “Oh yeah, that’s right!.” Onward they played wonderfully! This was a Hallmark moment!

Namaste

Namaste, I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light, and of peace. When you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me we are one.

Namaste is a common Hindi greeting or salutation. I found the above definition of “Namaste” so intrinsically beautiful! To me, the greeting, Namaste, opens up the possibility of accepting myself as a person worthy of love and goodness and, in turn, receiving the other into my life, as I resonate with their love and goodness. This greeting says hello to me with the wind of love. This greeting opens up to me the possibility of living in harmony with all human beings. Namaste initiates the meeting with someone with such profound respect and moves my inner being with great hope and future for all of us. This greeting makes me happy!
