there is no emptiness like that void of one’s friends

there is no peace, no justified end

when all words and thoughts stop

where i began and you left off

what an idiot i was

emotions took over just because

i had to find a reason

for what seemed to be like treason

the worst i could be

crazy fool, with no thought of thee

though the flowers should bring me delight

i feel nothing but sorrow for the fight

clouds cover my sight

you have left and i am without night

there is no sleep

for your friendship i did not keep

now there is no one left here

but hollowness and  tears

what is loneliness?

it is an illusion

isolation confusion

fear of being by oneself

feeling separate on the life shelf

unconnected and dismayed

climb out of yourself  and face the day

be gentle with yourself

 inconvenience oneself

accept that you are loveable

not only culpable

accept that you are part of something greater than yourself

you must bring oneself

to the waiting God of LOVE

you are never alone…hand and glove

…remember…go your Center

be at peace in Love tender

desire…noble, defenseless desire seeks its want

you find it within yourself…your happiness you flaunt

tension deliciously mounts with numerous increases as you jaunt

your heart runs, ignoring the geo-political thread detente

 

 

…like the  black stallion in the dark night, speeding onward without delay

…like the blue wave cresting over itself, heedless of any obstacle in its way

…like the brilliance of a summer sunset, streaking its  copper orange passion hues through sky’s roadway

… turns in every possible direction

flounders… stumbling over its own emotions…no selection

…cascading into

turbulent joy, no honorable mention

your heart runs and runs…

…oblivious of what is not there

…oblivious of the blank  stares

 ..oblivious of the one way flare

 

UNTIL

 

until…you see you are running alone 

until…you feel unrequited desire…no one home

until…you capture your sigh, realizing your heart was on loan

love is never easy even if there is no obvious fight

emotional, physical love can carry you to great heights

intensity transforms  you to new sights

as the early choir of birds sing their way into my being

streaming through the sunlit beams of dreams

beckoning me out of my comfort

promising to fly with me through the maze

winging their way through Mother Earth

accompanying me out of the purple haze

chirping with delight, innocence… so free

with courage and daring they go into flight

angel wings carrying them out to SEE

promising another day to live with delight!

Cruel, cruel worry came upon my brain to perch

Sorrow was his assistant, every crevice acutely searched

Then came in the rest of the battalion

Leaving a trail of  bloody medallions

What is wrong, why are you never enough

What is wrong, hurt is lacing your heart’s cuff

Alone you sit, battle within, pull yourself up and be you again

Feeling mortally wounded with forces of evil up to your chin

Turning each cell, trying to fill each with disdain

Invading and depositing pieces of the blame

Mistakes do happen, will occur with revenge

Struggle and fight, do not allow evil to avenge

For inside deep, within the clay

Love is still with you each day

Fill your being with water crystals divine

Let love rule your artistic mind

Compassion and honesty, gentle and true

No matter the judgment of others…you are you

Let the water of the universe soothe your soul

Love crystals abound and give you control

but simply…stacked the blocks

with intent concentration

no precarious assumption that it couldn’t be done

or any fear of defamation

they played together

daring, courageously and unabashed

the architects of playland

undaunted by the task

if only Congress

would recognize the fun

could give it a run
